
Commandant Nigerian Army Institute Of Science Education and Technology Graduates Fourth Quarter Courses 2025
The Acting Commandant, Nigerian Army Institute of Science Education and Technology (NAISET), Colonel Abbas Abubakar, has charged graduating students of the Fourth Quarter Courses 2025 to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their training in order to justify the objectives of the courses.
He gave the charge during the graduation ceremony held at the Major General SA Adebayo (Rtd) Multipurpose Hall, Sobi Cantonment, Ilorin, Kwara State, on Friday 12 December 2025.
The 3-month courses, which commenced on 3 October and ended on 12 December 2025, included Young Officers Education Course, Advanced Systematic Approach to Training Course, Advanced Certificate in Library Science, Advanced Certificate in Museum and Archives Studies, Certificate in Library and Information Science, and Advanced Instructional Systems Technology Course.
In his address, the Acting Commandant, represented by the Chief Instructor General Courses, Lieutenant Colonel Usman Tukon Ibrahim, commended the efforts of officers, instructors, civilian staff and the management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) for their support towards the successful conduct of the courses.
He stated that the courses were in line with the Nigerian Army Education Corps’ drive to enhance operational effectiveness in support of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shuaibu’s Command Philosophy. He added that Army Headquarters provided the necessary support and resources for the conduct of the training.
The Commandant expressed confidence that the graduands are now well prepared for deployment to various Nigerian Armed Forces institutions and establishments. He congratulated them and formally declared the Fourth Quarter Courses 2025 closed.
Earlier, in a goodwill message, the representative of the Provost, Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE), Lieutenant Colonel Veli Goje Burak, appreciated the management of UNILORIN for its sustained collaboration with NAISET, particularly in the conduct of library-related certificate programmes. He urged the graduands to be good ambassadors of NAISET and the Nigerian Army.
Also speaking, the representative of the Librarian, UNILORIN, Dr Aminat Abdulsalam, welcomed the Acting Commandant of NAISET and charged the graduands to make effective use of the knowledge acquired. Similarly, the representative of the Director, Centre for Peace and Security Studies (CPSS), UNILORIN, Dr Abdullateef D Suleiman, commended the sustained partnership between UNILORIN and NAISET and wished the graduands success in their future assignments.
Dignitaries at the ceremony included the Director Administration NAISET, Lieutenant Colonel HB Yusuf; Chief Instructor Corps Courses NAISET, Lieutenant Colonel OP Ajiwe; Chief Instructor Languages NAISET, Lieutenant Colonel AB Abubakar; Director Academic Planning and Quality Assurance NACOE, Lieutenant Colonel AA Mohammed; and Chief Instructor Instructional Systems and Technology Wing NAISET, Lieutenant Colonel M Badeh, among other principal staff officers of both NAISET and NACOE.
