
Chief Of Naval Staff Hosts Naval Ratings For Iftar At Navy House, Abuja
The Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, hosted naval ratings serving within the Abuja area for an Iftar gathering at Navy House, Abuja, on Monday, 16 March 2026. The event brought together Muslim personnel observing the holy month of Ramadan to break their fast in an atmosphere of unity, reflection, and camaraderie. In attendance were Principal Staff Officers, Directors, and ratings from Naval Headquarters, including the Naval Headquarters Chief Boatswain Mate (CBM), underscoring the inclusive nature of the gathering.
Addressing the personnel, the Chief of the Naval Staff commended the ratings for their dedication, discipline, and steadfast commitment to service.
