
Commander 21 Special Armoured Brigade Pays Courtesy Visit To Borno State Police Command
The Commander, 21 Special Armoured Brigade Bama, Brigadier General Tosin Ayoola, on Monday 30 March 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Borno State Police Command Headquarters in Maiduguri as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen inter-agency collaboration in the fight against insecurity. During the visit, the Commander met with the Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Abdulmajid, where discussions focused on enhancing operational synergy and sustaining the relative peace being experienced across Bama and its environs.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Ayoola expressed deep appreciation for the continuous support and cooperation of the Nigerian Police Force in combating insecurity in the region. He emphasized the critical role of collaboration among security agencies and further stressed the need for the Police Headquarters to consider increasing the number of personnel deployed to Bama in order to bolster ongoing security operations and improve coverage within the area.
In his response, the Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Abdulmajid, thanked the Brigade Commander for the visit and reaffirmed the commitment of the Borno State Police Command to sustaining its partnership with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies. He noted that collective efforts remain vital in addressing emerging security challenges and assured of the Command’s readiness to support initiatives aimed at enhancing peace and stability in Bama and the wider region.
The visit also provided an opportunity for both leaders to deliberate on other critical security concerns affecting Bama and its environs.
