Commander 31 Artillery Brigade Commends 311 Artillery Regiment For Operational Successes
The Commander 31 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Kabir Rabiu, has commended the officers and soldiers of 311 Artillery Regiment, Kontagora, for their dedication, resilience and recent operational successes in the fight against insurgency, banditry and other security threats.
Brigadier General Rabiu gave the commendation on 8 September 2026 during his operational visit to the Regiment. He was received by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Ifeanyi Alison, who briefed him on the Regiment’s administrative, logistics and operational activities, including its security commitments within its Area of Responsibility.
The Commander commended the Commanding Officer for his leadership and commitment to duty, while applauding the troops for their sacrifices and sustained efforts towards maintaining peace and security within the area. He particularly congratulated the Regiment on its recent operational successes, urging the troops to sustain the momentum.
Brigadier General Rabiu further charged the officers and soldiers to remain vigilant and continue to discharge their duties with professionalism, discipline and commitment. He stressed the need to maintain operational readiness and respond effectively to emerging security challenges within the Area of Responsibility.
The Commander reiterated the Brigade’s commitment to supporting its units in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities and maintaining a high state of operational effectiveness.
