Commander 35 Artillery Brigade Distributes Exercise Books To Pupils of Army Children School Alamala

In an effort to improve the standard of education in Alamala community, the Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Godwin Nwamba has distributed exercise books of 40 leaves to pupils of Army Children School Alamala, Abeokuta, Ogun State on Thursday 18 September 2025.

Speaking during the presentation, the Commander noted that the gesture was to help the pupils in their learning and ease hardship as they resumed school. He stated that every child deserves the best tools and opportunities to pursue their dreams and aspirations in life.

While delivering her vote of thanks, the Head Teacher of the school, Mrs Adebanjo Khadijat Iyabo expressed her appreciation to the Commander for the kind gesture. She explained that the intervention was timely as some of the parents of the pupils complained of their inability to afford these note books at the moment. She solicited to the commanders for the provision of toilets in the school as the school presently lacked functional toilets, which made the pupils always use the nearby bush. In his response to her request, the Commander graciously approved the construction of six toilets for the school.

The event ended with the distribution of the exercise books to the pupils and a group photograph.
