Commander JTF South South Operation Delta Safe Hosts FOC Central Naval Command

The Commander Joint Task Force South South Operation DELTA SAFE Rear Admiral Olusegun Ferreira has 14 July 2023 received in audience the Flag Officer Commanding(FOC) Central Naval Command Rear Admiral Umar S Ayuba Chugali on the former courtesy visit to the Task Force Headquarters at Yenagoa, Bayelsa State,

In his remarks, the FOC Central Naval Command Rear Admiral Umar S Ayuba Chugali said his Command will continue to support the Joint Task Force as it has common objective which is to secure National critical facilities for Nation’s economy buoyancy and security of lives and property in the Niger Delta Region, especially in the fight against crude oil thieves and pipeline vandals in addition to other criminal elements in region.

In his response, the commander OPDS assured the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command of the usual synergy between the Joint Task Force and Central Naval Command in ensuring that maritime crimes are checkmated in line with the OPDS mandate.

Rear Admiral Olusegun Ferreira also commended the security agencies’ collaboration in the fight against crude oil theft, vandalism and other criminality harping on its continuity for more laudable successes.
