Commander TRADOC Nigerian Army Inaugurates Examination Panel For Lieutenant To Captain Practical Examination 2024

The Commander Training and Doctrine Command, Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA), Major General Kevin Aligbe has on Sunday, 4th February 2024 inaugrated the Examination Panel for 2024 Lieutenant to Captain Practical Promotion Examination. (LCPPE).

The inauguration held at Rihno Officers’ Mess Headquarters, 3 Armoured Division, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment Jos , Plateu State had about five hundred participants in attendance.

Major General Aligbe who is also the Examination President charged the panelists to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their responsibilities.

He told them to adhere to the salient principles of fairness, thoroughness and uprightness in the conduct of the examination.

The Commander TRADOC NA strongly emphasised on the need for the panelists to embrace objectivity and transparency in discharging their duties with utmost sense of dilligence and professionalism as contained in the Nigerian Army Examination Charter.

He stated further that the panelists must shun any act capable of undermining the integrity and the high standard of the Nigerian Army examination.

The Commander TRADOC Nigerian Army reminded the panel of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja’s determination to produce quality officers capable of adding values to the on-going operations against insurgency, terrorism and sundry crimines bedeviling the country.

He butresed this by making reference to the COAS Command Philosophy for the Nigerian Army towards producing well trained, highly professional and motivated manpower for the Service.

General Aligbe warned panelists to abstain from acts capable of undermining the goals of the Examination pointing out that offenders will be duly sanctioned in line with the extant laws guiuding the examinations.

Earlier in his welcome address, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Special Task Force Operation Safe Haven who is also the Chief Host , Major General AE Abubakar congratulated the Examination Panelists for thier nomination.

Major General Abubakar said the examination is key to career progression of the examinees adding that it will equip candidates with requisite knowledge that will help them in playing active roles in the nation’s Internal security architecture.
