Davido Slams Music Critic for Saying He Bought YouTube Views for His New Artiste

Yesterday, Pulse Editor-in-Chief and music critic Osagie Alonge dropped his latest #FactsOnly video in which he spoke about what’s next for Davido and his newly signed artistes, Mayorkun and Dremo. While analysing the upcoming artistes based on their music and successes, he said Mayorkun’s Eleko video garnering over 1 million views on YouTube within the space of 10 days was questionable.

“How come you from nowhere, you drop your video and you hit a million views, fam it is not possible. Don’t call a dog a monkey for us.” Osagie stated.

Davido responded to Alonge’s statement, asking him to keep his name out of his mouth before adding that his new artistes are hard workers.  Osagie was also slammed by rapper, M.I in January after he criticised his speech at the Headies when he won in the Best Rap Album category.

Davido also recently called out his ‘own blood’ on Twitter after he celebrated Mayorkun hitting 1 million views on Youtube and accused the person, presumed to be his cousin B-red, of being jealous of his artiste’s success.
