‘He had to Die to be Valued!’ – Ali Baba Slams Those Who Wanted Keshi Fired
This morning, tragedy struck Nigeria as shocking news of the death of former Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi was announced.
Keshi reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest this morning in Benin City months after he lost his wife of 33 years to a prolonged battle with cancer. Since the announcement of his death, social media has been flooded with emotional tributes to the great legend from Nigerians. However, ace comedian Ali Baba has reacted to the various tributes that have been made and he is not impressed by them. According to him, most of the people who wanted Keshi fired last year are the same people paying him glowing tributes now that he is dead. ‘He had to die to be valued!’ he wrote on his twitter.
MOST OF PEOPLE WHO ASKED FOR STEPHEN KESHI TO BE FIRED AS EAGLES COACH, ARE NOW PAYING GLOWING TRIBUTES TO HIM. HE HAD TO DIE TO BE VALUED!

Nigerians have reacted to his explosive statement and are not dragging the comedian.
@alibabagcfr the fact that people wanted him fired doesn’t mean they wish him dead. Life above everything.

.@alibabagcfr This is inaccurate. In football, you’re as good as the last tournament and/or trophy. CFC fans wanted Jose fired, too.

@ALIBABAGCFR oh that he was fired or clamoured to be fired didn’t mean he wasn’t appreciated/valued for his success even Mourinho was fired.

@ALIBABAGCFR @CAMRIOLA
Do you expect people to hurl insults at him or rather distasteful comments?— . (@alhajiCODG_) June 8, 2016
@ALIBABAGCFR Bros, we owed that to him even though I fell out with him in his last stanza with the eagles bt doesn’t mean he wasn’t a legend

@ALIBABAGCFR The fact that people wanted him outta the Job doesn’t mean they want him dead.

@ALIBABAGCFR Bros..differences on his lack of potentials to pull the super eagles through a rough patch…does not mean we don’t value Keshi

@ALIBABAGCFR. I am one person that called for his sack but life and death are two different things. Ok. Dnt bring issues uo here.
