Dr SID Finally Addresses Claims That He Slept With Tiwa Savage

Weeks ago, Tee Billz dragged his wife Tiwa Savage on social media, accused her of cheating, emasculation and even claimed that her mother hexed him.

And that was not enough; he dragged his own father and finally made that botched attempt to end his life.

The most memorable accusation he made which Nigerians are quick to remember was the claim that she had affairs with 2baba Idibia, Don Jazzy and Dr SID. While Idibia has sort of denied the accusation, SID is only just doing that now.

In a new interview, the ‘Kabiyesi’ crooner denied the accusation and maintained that he is best friends with the Mavin Queen.

According to Daily Post, here’s how he replied:

Tiwa Savage is, and will always be, a good friend of mine. She is a hard worker. All we need to do is to pray for them and hope that everything is sorted out soon.

Tiwa also said a lot in her interview, so I am sure she has cleared the air on that. On my own, my wife and I are good. Everybody is fine.

And if he was bothered by how blogs and folks on social media shared the Tee Billz accusation without verifying, he said:

Who do you verify from? How many things would one verify? Let’s be real. If this person talk am and that person talk am again, na so I be. If one person says it and another confirms it, then it is true.

I am not really bothered about these things. If somebody calls you a thief and you did not steal why you go vex?

I don’t want to respond to nothing.”

While we give him thumbs up for shaking off the unfair allegations and moving on with his life and career, we can’t help but wonder why Tiwa Savage won’t stop blowing her embattled husband’s trumpet.

In her interview with E! VIP which was recorded after the fallout with her husband and which aired Sunday, the mum of one son spent considerable time talking about him.

Hear her:

“When I first met him, I felt he was very arrogant. He was very tall, dark, handsome and very confident.

He oozes that and he always expects that from me as well. So when I first met him, I didn’t fall in love. It wasn’t love at first sight. Although when he first met me, he said to me ‘so it’s either two things; I am either going to manage you or marry you. So I was just like ‘What! You are so full of yourself; I would never date you, let alone marry you’.

So obviously, we decided he was going to manage me because I turned down the other option.

I never saw myself getting romantically involved with him; however, on getting to discover another side of him, I fell for him.

We worked so closely together and I discovered this soft emotional guy. One who gave up everything for my career. He had a great business in L.A but he moved to Nigeria because he really believed in me more than I believed in myself.

So gradually I just started seeing in him, this person. So it was inevitable. I tried to fight it. It can’t happen and I couldn’t help it.”

Savage went on and on about their relationship, marriage, and more, but the point that rankled was her unwavering gratitude to Tee Billz for building her brand, even though she had earlier lashed out at him for taking too much credit.

She told E!:

“When Teebillz became my manager, he molded me into the Tiwa Savage brand we know today.

So he just literally put me through this whole program and told me that ‘the music is great, the talent is there but 80% of it is branding.’

So if you want to do the tom-boy thing, you have to take it to the extreme if you want to be hot and sexy you have to take it to the extreme. So I started learning how to wear heels and he basically just groomed me into the image of Tiwa Savage that we see now.”
