Familiarisation Visit By Permanent Secretary Ministry Of Defence To Naval Headquarters Abuja

On Thursday 9 January 2025, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Defence (PERM SEC MOD), Ambassador Gabriel Tanimu Aduda paid a familiarisation visit to Naval Headquarters, Abuja.

The purpose of the visit was to acquaint the PERM SEC MOD with Nigerian Navy Operations.

In his remarks, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla appreciated the PERM SEC MOD for the visit and congratulated him on his appointment. Additionally, the CNS highlighted the NN’s commitment to carrying out its statutory mandate of maritime security for economic prosperity in line with the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Mandate. Lastly, the CNS appreciated the guidance and support of MOD towards the NN at all times.
