Flying Officer Oke – Another Nigerian Air Force Female Fighter In The Making

Flying Officer Oluwadamilare Oke is another Nigerian Air Force (NAF) female fighter pilot in the making.

Oke, who is one of the 15 Student Pilots undergoing Basic Flying Training at the 403 Flying Training School (403 FTS) Kano, has successfully conducted her first solo flight on the L-39ZA Jet Trainer Aircraft.

She is the first female pilot to do so in the history of 403 FTS. This is yet another example of the gender-friendly environment created under the current NAF leadership.

We look forward to Oke’s progress and eventual graduation from the Course.
