Forward Operating Base Igbokoda Upgrades Sickbay and Commissions Security Posts

Forward Operating Base (FOB) IGBOKODA commissioned an upgraded Sickbay and newly built security posts. The Base has undergone significant infrastructural upgrades including the expansion of the Sickbay from a 2-bed to an 8-bed Ward with modern facilities, barracks renovations and construction of security posts.

This initiative is part of efforts to enhance general security situation in Ondo state and to effectively protect the Base. The commissioning was done by the Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command (FOC WEST), Rear Admiral MB Hassan who was the Special Guest of Honour.

The FOC commended the Commanding Officer FOB IGBOKODA, Captain MW Alushi for his leadership in ensuring successful operations since the commencement of his appointment.
