Gen. Okoro Charges Troops To Exhibit Professional Competence

The General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army Maj Gen Valentine Okoro has charged officers and soldiers of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army to be committed and exhibit highest level of professional competence in the discharge of their constitutional roles. He gave the charge at 4 Brigade headquarters Benin City during his operational visit to 4 Brigade area of responsibility on 15 August 2023.

During his address, Gen Okoro commended the Commander 4 Brigade Brigadier General Danlami Ndahi and his troops for their professional conduct during the 2023 general elections. He also commended the efforts of the Commander in renovating and remodeling dilapidated blocks in the Cantonment. He further promised to consolidate on the efforts of the Commander in providing accommodation and amenities such as water and light to troops at NA Cantonment Ekehaun.

The General Officer Commanding also visited 4 Brigade Garrison and 322 Artillery Regiment where he was briefed by the Garrison Commander Lt Col A Chinedu and Commanding Officer 322 Artillery Regiment Lt Col AO Adewara.

The climaxes of the operational visit were presentation of souvenirs, group photographs, signing of visitors book and planting of trees.
