GOC 2 Division Conducts Operational Visit To 12 Brigade Lokoja, Charges Troops To Remain Vigilant

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division Nigerian Army, Maj Gen Valentine Okoro has stressed the need for troops to be prepared at all times. The GOC made this call while on an operational visit to 12 Brigade Lokoja

The visit according to the GOC was aimed at enhancing operational readiness, fostering synergy, and assessing the preparedness of troops within the Brigade and also
to closely examine the training exercises of the Brigade.

In his address to troops, the GOC emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong and vigilant presence to address emerging threats and protect the local population. He commended the troops of 12 Brigade for their dedication and commitment to duty and assured them of the Nigerian Army’s unwavering support in providing the necessary enabling environment for them to succeed.

He reiterated the Nigerian Army’s role in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and ensuring the security of the lives and properties of the citizens

Earlier during the visit, Commander 12 Brigade Brigadier General Haruna Dasuki briefed the GOC on the activities of the Brigade and conducted him round the barracks
