GOC 81 Division Urges Troops To Remain Loyal To Commander In Chief Of The Armed Forces

The General Officer Commanding 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Mohammed Takuti Usman has urged troops to remain loyal to constituted authorities particularly, the President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also uphold the rule of law as a show of professionalism in the discharge of their constitutional duty.

Major General Usman made the statement during his maiden visit to Headquarters 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks , Abeokuta, Ogun State.

On arrival, the GOC was received and briefed by the Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu on the administrative and operational activities of the Brigade which covers Ogun State entirely.

During the visit, General Usman commissioned a newly constructed Quarter Guard in Alamala Barracks and also inspected ongoing projects in the barracks. Moreso, he visited the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun CON in the government house and the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egba Land, Oba (Dr) Micheal Aremu Gbadebo CFR in the Ake Palace, Abeokuta.

Equally, the GOC extended the familiarization visit to 192 Battalion (BN) Owode. While in 192 BN General Usman was equally briefed by the Commanding Officer Rear, Maj B Bala on the activities and operational engagement of the Battalion.

Highlight of the visit includes; Address to troops, Address to Barrack women, tour of the barrack facilities, presentation of plaques and signing of visitors’ books amongst others
