
GOC 81 Division Visits NACOLM, Expresses Satisfaction With Level Of Training Offered By The College
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adebayo Babalola has commended the Commandant, Faculty and Administrative Staff of the Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM) for their good works and expressed satisfaction with the level of training offered by the College.
The GOC stated this on 4 February 2026 during his courtesy visit to the college following his assumption of command of 81 Division. He also used the occasion to solicit the support of the College to the Division, especially in the area of logistics training and planning to enhance its operations.
The GOC further pledged to sustain the long-standing cooperation and mutually beneficial relationship that existed between 81 Division and the NACOLM.
The Commandant NACOLM Major General Adewale Collins Adetoba, who received the GOC and his entourage, expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged his commitment to sustain the cordial relationship that exist between the College and the Division. He called for more collaboration in the area of logistics training and valuable input in logistics planning in the Division’s operations.
Major General Adetoba also intimated the GOC on the training offered by the College, which he said includes Logistics Staff Course, Logistics Management Course, Junior Leadership and Staff Officers Course and the Senior Leadership and Staff Officers Course. The Commandant expressed delight in the level of performance in the field of officers trained by the college, especially in the area of logistics and staff appointments.
The visit also had in attendance the Commander 9 Brigade, Brigadier General Ayokunle Owolabi, Commander Central Vehicle Depot, Brigadier General M Sani, Deputy Commandant and Director of Studies NACOLM Brigadier General Sylvester Anyogo. Others were Principal Staff Officers from 81 Division, Directors, Chief Instructors, Commanding Officer 149 Battalion, Heads of Departments and Units.
Highlights of the visit include a brief presentation about the College and its training activities by the Acting Staff Officer 1, Operations and Training, Lieutenant Colonel I Akporokah.
