How Evans and His Lawyers Are Making False Allegations To Discredit The Good Work Of Abba Kyari, And IRT Team

A suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans has narrated how men of the Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, and men of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Intelligence response team, allegedly killed 30 people while torturing him which the Police Force has said it is very far from the truth.

Evans made the the false revelation during his trial at the Ikeja High Court in Lagos where he is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and kidnapping alongside six others, on Friday.

News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reported that before Evans’s testimony, a five-minute, 33-second video recording was played in the courtroom.

The video recording showed Idowu Haruna, a member of the Inspector General of Police IGP,’s intelligence response team, sitting beside Evans cautioning him and taking his statement.

However, Olanrewaju Ajanaku, Evans’s lawyer, queried the validity of the recording, saying the video was doctored.

The alleged kidnap kingpin gave more false details to the court on how the police officers tortured him and made him witness executions in a bid to get him to admit to his crimes.

The kidnap kingpin is been tried for conspiracy and kidnap along six others.
