Intelligence has been informed through a reliable source that one of ISWAP commanders has announced the procurement of Military uniforms from Libya.
According to credible sources, the Military uniforms were procured by one Ibrahim MAIDOGON KWANA and presently the imported uniforms at Kusri in Cameroon Republic. He is currently seeking for the easy means to smuggle items into Nigeria.
The source also confirmed that the imported uniforms would enter Nigerian territory around the axis. They are expected to come through Gamboru-Ngala and Ruwa Misa on the southern Lake Chad axis. The insurgents intend to use local or speed boats to deliver the items.
Intelligence also says that major offensive are planned for during the Yuletide period. The Military uniforms has been a disguise for attacks on military locations or mounting of roadblock to abduct passers-by.
This mode of operation is likely to be heightened in recent planned attacks. It is advised that security agencies are abreast of the plan and urged to ensure proper communication channels to avert infiltration by terrorists.
