Hours after threatening legal action and demanding an apology, Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan’s name has been removed from the controversial list of Africa’s Richest Presidents.
US based website, RichestLifestyle.com , had released a list that it says are the richest African Presidents and Our own President Jonathan was ranked jointly sixth with the King of Swaziland with an estimated networth of $100million; a claim the President denied, threatening legal action against the publishers.
Obviously not too pleased with the list, the President through his Spokesman Reuben Abati demanded a retraction and condemned the inclusion of his name in the list describing it as another attempt to unjustifiably portray the President as a corrupt leader and incite public disaffection against him.
