Jose Mourinho Lands Russia 2018 World Cup Deal
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho won’t be enjoying the sun in an exotic city during the summer of 2018…that’s because he’ll be at the World Cup!
The Portuguese tactician won’t be going as a coach of course – you suspect he’ll enjoy the little break from dugout – he’ll be there as a pundit for Russian news outlet RT.
This was confirmed Monday by RT who took to their official website to announce that they’d hooked the famous manager in a deal that’ll see him appear on their TV channel during the Mundial.
And Mou has confirmed the good news, saying he looks forward to the big pay…oh, sorry, sharing his insights on the games.
“I am very happy to join the team at RT. I am looking forward to attending the World Cup in Russia this summer and sharing my insights into the games.”
RT have also released a video after landing the Special One, and it also features Man United’s legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, who will also be an RT pundit this summer.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side travel to Selhurst Park this evening where they’ll be looking for a win to cut the gap on runaway leaders Manchester City to 16 points.
