Kano shuts secondary schools over voter registration

The Kano State Government in northwest Nigeria Thursday shut down secondary schools in the state to enable students who have attained the age of 18 and above to get registered to collect their Permanent Voter’s card following the commencement of the Continuous Voter Registration exercise in the state.
