Kim and Kanye West Launches Kids Clothing Line Designed By North
Fashionable children of the world, rejoice. Their parents, though: Start saving those paychecks.
Kim Kardashian has announced that she and husband Kanye West are releasing a line of children’s clothing, and took to Snapchat Tuesday to tease the collection with a series of videos featuring (who else) North West modeling some of the yet-to-be-released pieces.
And considering North’s impeccable style and ability to put together an outfit—she was named one of 2016’s best-dressed babies—we’re not surprised she’s the first to show off the line. If North’s style is the inspiration behind the Kardashian-West collaboration, expect to see “simple, classic, and really chic” pieces (considering that’s how Kim described her three-year-old daughter’s style to People).
In the social media clips, North wears a yellow sequin dress and a yellow shearling coat.
“Wait, let me see this outfit that you’ve got on. Do you see this Yeezy jacket? Is that a Yeezy yellow shearling?” Kim can be heard saying. The reality-TV mogul also reveals that North had a hand in picking out the colors and fabrics for some of the pieces—so don’t hold you breath for a lot of pink, what with North’s notorious aversion to it.
This isn’t the first time the Kardashians have tried their hand at a children’s line. In September 2014, Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney released a Kardashian Kids collection. Kim offered little details about when or where her new line would be available or its price points, but we’d assume that Kanye’s influence will dictate that these pieces are edgier and higher-end—just look to his Yeezys for infants collection, with items that start at $130.
West also plans to unveil Yeezy season five at New York Fashion Week on February 15.
