Katsina Government Approves ₦70,000 New Minimum Wage For Workers
The Katsina State government has approved a new minimum wage of N70,000 for civil servants.
Governor of the state, Dikko Radda announced the development during a press briefing on Friday.
The adjustment comes into Effect From December 1st, 2024.
The move came months after President Bola Tinubu approved ₦70,000 as the new minimum wage for workers. This followed several negotiations by labour unions, the private sector, and the government over a new minimum wage.
