Kerry Washington Closes Social Media Pages After Pregnancy for Nigerian Husband is Revealed

Kerry Washington is leaving social media and the ‘Scandal’ star isn’t sure when she would return, or if she ever will.

The pregnant mum made this announcement on her Instagram moments ago, to the surprise of many fans. She didn’t offer explanation for the break, except that she feels need for ‘quiet’.

“It’s time for me to take a teeny break from social media,” the Olivia Pope star said, noting, “Feeling called to be a bit more quiet and still. Not sure how long it’ll last but don’t worry, I’ll be back soon enough.”

Last week, amid fresh rumours that she and Nnamdi Asomugha were having yet another marital issues, the actress stepped out with her husband for the White House Correspondent Dinner, spotting a baby bump. And this shut down the affair claims.

Ms Washington has never been one to speak about her family, and the couple raises their first child, Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha, away from the media, and this has many times led to notion that she is having marital problems.

Now she is going away and fans are unsure why she is doing it. “This space has become such a community. I’m very grateful. Thank you,” she simply offered today. “I’ll be thinking of youz and I’m sending love to you wherever you are…#MermaidGram”
