Kylie Jenner Donates Business Proceeds to Provide Life Changing Cleft Repair Surgeries for 638 Children

Thanks to Kylie Jenner, 638 children around the world will now be able to smile again.

Yesterday, the reality TV star donated all the proceeds from Kylie’s Smile Lip Kit to the Smile Train, a charity foundation which helps in providing repair surgeries for children with cleft lip.

According to Bustle, the Jenner sister gave Susannah Schaefer, the CEO of the foundation, a check of $150,000  which was the total proceeds from the limited lip kit she designed especially for the project.

The special lip kit sold out in less than an hour.

“Through my company Kylie Cosmetics, I was able to create a beautiful pink lip kit shade called Smile specifically for Smile Train,” Jenner said in a news release yesterday. “I couldn’t be happier that 100 percent of the net proceeds are going straight to Smile Train to help kids around the world get the surgery they need to help them have beautiful smiles and the opportunity to live healthy, happy lives.”

And the reality TV star added that she will continue to use her media influence to partner with the foundation.

This is the first of such projects by the 19-year-old who unarguably is one of the most influential teenagers in digital age. However it is unclear yet, if she will be releasing a second set of the special lip kit.
