Lil Kim Shuts Down Rumours on Nicki Minaj Diss Track with Remy Ma
For those excited about a collaborative Nicki diss track between rappers Lil Kim and Remy Ma, we’re sorry but it’s not happening.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Lil Kim cleared the air on the rumours making rounds that she is working on a second Minaj diss track with Remy Ma.
In case you missed it, Remy Ma launched a feud with Nicki a few days ago when she dropped a seething diss track titled shETHER. The song was a response to Nicki Minaj’s verse on Gucci Mane’s new song Make Love, where shots were fired at a female rival alleged to be Remy Ma. Since then, social media has been agog with the whole drama.
Speaking on the rumours, Lil Kim had this to say:
“First of all, let me tell you this, Y’all giving ol’ girl (Nicki) too much credit. I’m not even thinking about that. I’m not even thinking about ol’ girl! I’m so far past that. That’s never on my mind. Ever. Ol’ girl has never been on my mind for a long ass time at all. So I hate the fact of that being in the equation.”
There might be no new Nicki diss track in the works for Kim, but she ensured to applaud Remy Ma’s shETHER. “After hearing ‘shETHER, that shit is so hard, Remy don’t need no damn help! Why would I need to come together for that?” she said.
Meanwhile, you can listen to Lil Kim’s 2010 Nicki diss track Black Friday below.
