Lindsay Lohan Loses Her Finger in Horrifying Boating Accident
Just weeks after a scandalous fight with her fiance, actress Lindsay Lohan is involved in a gruesome boating accident that almost cost her a finger.
According to People, the embattled star was hanging out with friends on Sunday when the incident happened. The 30-year-old said she was trying to anchor the boat by herself when her finger got entangled and she was dragged down.
Lindsay Lohan says she is recovering from a boating accident that almost left her without her ring finger. On Sunday morning, the actress, 30, shared a video of her bandaged hand and explained what had happened.
“I almost lost my finger from the anchor,” she wrote. “Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger… i just had surgery to fix it … it hurts so bad.”
While it’s unclear where the boating incident took place, Lohan recently shared photos from a trip to Turkey, where she met with a family who fled from war-torn Aleppo.
The anchor sliced off her finger and friends had to swim down to find the detached flesh and hurry her to a hospital for surgery.
“I almost lost my finger from the anchor,” the 30-year-old said. “Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger… i just had surgery to fix it … it hurts so bad.”
“This is the result of me trying to help anchor the boat by myself,” she continued. “My poor finger!”
It is unclear where the photo was taken, but People magazine suggests it could be in Turkey, where she met a family that survived the war in Aleppo.
