Magu Admonishes Law Students to Fight Corruption with Dignity

The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has urged law students in Nigeria universities to uphold the rule of law and ensure the peace of society, by making sure that those who are against the law are brought to justice.

Magu gave the charge on Thursday, March 5, 2020, when the 200 level Faculty of law students of Baze University, Abuja, paid a scheduled visit to the EFCC Headquarters, Abuja.

Head, Legal and Prosecution, Kabiru Latona, who represented Magu, while addressing the students on the topic, “The role of Lawyers in the Fight against Corruption”, advised and encouraged the students to practice law with the sense of dignity, and that they should use the law for the advancement of the humanity and society rather than bringing it down.
