Major General Nnebeife Decorates Newly Promoted Lieutenant Colonels, Charges Them To Remain Selfless With Integrity In The Discharge Of Their Constitutional Duties

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division Nigerian Army (NA), Major General CR Nebeife, has decorated newly promoted senior officers of Headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army with their new ranks, charging them to remain selfless with integrity in the discharge of their constitutional duties. The GOC gave the charge on Friday 10 April 2026, during the investiture ceremony at Tiger Officers’ Mess, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ibadan.

While making his remarks, the GOC advised the newly decorated senior officers to always adhere to the Core Values of the Nigerian Army which are “Loyalty, Selfless Service, Courage, Discipline, Integrity and Respect for others” at every given time. He thank the Chief Army Staff (COAS) for approving the promotion and finding the senior officers worthy of the promotion. The GOC then Congratulated the senior officers and thereafter wished them success.

While delivering vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries, Lt Col AA Amarikwa thanked God Almighty for granting them grace of promotion to their respective higher ranks in the NA. She further thanked the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General W Shaibu, for considering them worthy. The event was climaxed with a group photographs and refreshments.
