MAJOR GENERAL USMAN YUSUF ASSUMES COMMAND AS THE NEW FORCE COMMANDER OPERATION HADARIN DAJI

The newly appointed Force Commander Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) Gusau, Zamfara state Major General Usman Yusuf has assumed command of the Operation which covers Kebbi, Katsina, Zamafara and Gusau today 15 March 2021. He took over from Major General Aminu Bande who has been redeployed to Training and Doctrine Command Minna, Niger State.

In his maiden remark the new Commander Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) Maj Gen UA Yusuf commended his predecessor Maj Gen Aminu Bande for his remarkable achievements and purposeful leadership in restoring peace and stability in his Operational Area of Responsibility. He promised to sustain and build upon General Bande’s legacies. While charging commanders and troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI to brace-up for the enormous task ahead, Major General Yusuf further tasked the commanders not to relent on their oars but to take the battle to the criminals’ enclaves and flush them out until they are forced to embrace peace.

Earlier, the immediate past Commander Operation HADARIN DAJI Major General Aminu Bande, in his farewell speech applauded Officers and soldiers for their contribution to the success of his tenure as the Commander of the Operation, he implored them to accord more support and dedication to his successor as he hands over the leadership baton.
