Mariah Carey’s Fans Drag Miley Cyrus for Calling Her ‘Spoilt’ in New Interview

Controversial singer Miley Cyrus has sparked an outrage among Mariah Carey fans after shading the singer in a new interview.

In her interview with Elle Magazine‘s October issue, Miley candidly stated that she wasn’t a fan of Mariah Carey when explaining a comment she made to a contestant on The Voice about how not everyone can be Mariah Carey.

“I’ve never really been a fan, because it’s so much about Mariah Carey. That’s part of her shtick; I can see through that.” She said. “Mariah has always been about what she’s wearing, and it’s about her. What I make isn’t about me. It’s about sharing my story; it’s about someone being connected to what I’m saying.” She then added that she did not grow up spoilt in any way. Ouch!

Miley is NOT the first celebrity to publicly criticize Carey’s divalicious personality. In June, Demi Lovato was lambasted by Carey’s army when she compared her to singer Ariana Grande. But Lovato remained unapologetic and tweeted this

“Mariah is a legend and so talented but constantly disses people. It’s nasty the way she treats Jennifer. Extremely talented? Yes. Superhuman? Possibly. Unnecessarily rude? Absolutely”
