MD/CEO Post Service Housing Development Limited Holds Strategic Townhall Meetings With Residents In Lagos and Ibadan

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Post Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL), Major General Isaiah Allison, has held strategic townhall meetings with executive officers and residents of PHDL estates in Lagos and Ibadan from 8 – 10 May 2026. The engagements formed part of continued stakeholder outreach across the Company’s estates nationwide. The meetings were held at PHDL Eko Estates in Abule Egba and Ojo, Lagos, as well as PHDL Pacesetter Estates in Eleyele and Akobo, Ibadan.

Addressing residents during the engagements, Major General Allison described Abule Egba Estate as the pioneer estate of PHDL, established about 30 years ago, and noted that it remains a symbol of the Company’s legacy and growth over the decades. He disclosed plans to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of PHDL, while reaffirming the Company’s commitment to providing quality housing and improved living standards across all PHDL communities.

The MD/CEO urged residents to embrace unity, cooperation, and active participation in estate affairs to promote sustainable development. He emphasized the importance of prompt payment of service charges to estate executives for effective management, maintenance of common facilities, and delivery of essential services. He also called for regular meetings of the Post-Service Housing Estate Residents Association (POHERA) to strengthen communication, address concerns promptly, and enhance coordination among stakeholders.

Major General Allison further stressed the need for vigilance and robust security arrangements within the estates, charging residents and POHERA executives not to allow criminal elements use the communities as safe havens. In their separate remarks, Chairmen of the Estate Executive Committees commended the MD/CEO for his visionary leadership and pledged the continued support of residents towards peaceful coexistence, improved welfare, and sustained development across PHDL estates nationwide.
