Meet the Rescued Chibok School Girl, Her Baby and Her ‘Husband’; a ‘Boko Haram Commander’

Earlier today, we reported that one of the missing 219 Chibok school girls was found and identified by the Joint Task Force officers assisting the fight against insurgency in the northeastern Nigeria.  This was confirmed on Twitter by former Minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili, and now we have the photos of the rescued girl, 19-year-old Amina Nkeki, her baby and the man who allegedly is now her ‘husband’.

Sahara Reporters confirms that the alleged husband is a Boko Haram commander.

Amina Nkeki was reportedly found around the Sambisa forest while she was breastfeeding her child, and after she was rescued and interrogated, the 19-year-old said that six of her mates died in captivity, and that the terrorist group which has held them in captivity for two years, shielded them from the military.

According to Tunji Olarenwaju, the member of the strategic team of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement:

“She said all of them are still in Sambisa forest, that six were already dead. She added that they are well secured and protected from the Nigerian army. She has been talking to troops at Damboa after verifying her to the Chibok Community at home.”

Olanrewaju also added that the Chairman of the Association of Chibok Parents confirmed Amina Nkeki’s identity.
