Moses, Oshoala win 2018 NFF Player of the Year Awards
Super Eagles Player and Chelsea winger Victor Moses has won the men’s 2018 Aiteo-Nigerian Football Federation player of the year award, while Asisat Oshola won the women’s 2018 Aiteo-Nigerian Football Federation player of the year award at a ceremony held on Monday.
At the maiden Aiteo NFF Awards 2018 ceremony held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Moses unsurprisingly got the nod for best player after a memorable year for club and country.
The 28-year-old was pivotal to Chelsea’s Premier League triumph in 2017, and played a big part as Nigeria booked a spot at the 2018 World Cup with a game to spare.
Oshoala, meanwhile, stood out yet again among the women, famously netting the winner in Dalian Quanjian’ triumph in the Chinese Women League FA Cup.
Other winners are Coach of the Year (Men) Kenndey Bobboye Coach of the year (Women) Ann Chiejine Young player of the year (Men) Ikoumem Udoh Young player of the year (Women) Rasheedat Ajibade.
Legends recognised at the Aiteo-NFF Awards 2018 include Flexi Owolabi Segun Odegbami Nankwo Kanu Austin Okocha Austin Eguavoen Uche Okechukwu Christian Chukwu Thompson Usiyan Akide-Udoh Adokiye Amiesimaka.
