Bandits have killed three persons, including a pilot in separate attacks in the Kaduna North and Kajuru local government areas of Kaduna State.
The pilot, Abdulkarim Bala Na’Allah, the eldest son of Senator Bala Na’Allah, was killed by the hoodlums in his Malali GRA residence in the Kaduna North Local Government Area of the state on Sunday.
The son of the lawmaker representing Kebbi South Senatorial District in Kebbi State was said to have been found dead in his bedroom.
The 36-year-old pilot was said to have been tied and strangled, while the hoodlums made away with his vehicle and other valuables.
The Special Adviser to Na’Allah, Garba Mohammed, who confirmed the incident to journalists, said the hoodlums gained entry into the deceased’s house by breaking the ceiling to carry out their dastardly act.
He noted that a neighbour’s security guard, who noticed the gate to the deceased’s house wide open, raised the alarm.
This, Mohammed added, led to the discovery of the remains of the pilot inside his bedroom.
The lawmaker’s aide further said the remains of Abdulkarim would be interred at the Ungwan Sarki Cemetery in accordance to Islamic rites.
The spokesman for the police in the state, ASP Mohammed Jalige, said the command was aware of the incident and had deployed its operatives to the scene of the crime.
On the Kajuru attack, it was gathered that the bandits invaded the Makoro Iri village and killed two persons.
It was learnt that the bandits stormed the village and shot indiscriminately and killed the two persons on Saturday.
The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, identified the victims as Gideon Mumini and Barnabas Ezra.
