NAFDAC Visits Headquarters Theatre Command Operation Hadin Kai

The Deputy Director National Agency for Food And Drug Administration And Control (NAFDAC) North East (NE) Zone Mr Jamil Audu and members of his executives paid a courtesy visit to Headquarters Theatre Command Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) and were received on arrival by the Theatre Commander JTF NE OPHK Maj Gen GU Chibuisi at HQ Theatre Command in Maimalari Military Cantonment, on Thursday, 7 September, 2023.

Mr Jamil Audu who is also the state Coordinator NAFDAC said the purpose of their visit is to seek for continuous collaboration and enhanced synergy with the Command pointing out the critical role his organisation play in the operational activities of OPHK. He equally thank the Theatre Commander for the security cover and protection of his personnel while carrying out their own operational activities within the Maiduguri Metropolitan council and environs.

The Theatre Commander OPHK in response assured the Director of his Command’s willingness to continue to partner with NAFDAC as the Name implies “HADIN KAI” means Multi- stakeholders Approach to combating Terrorism, hence NAFDAC have a key role to play in the Ops activities of OPHK especially in the overall fight against drug peddlers and users. Adding that the doors of his office and the command is always open to the organisation for any form of collaboration and assistance they may require.

The high point of the visit was the signing of visitor’s book, presentation of souvenirs and group photograph.

Present during the visit were the Chief of Staff Headquarters Theatre Command, Brig Gen A Idris, Theatre Intelligence Coordinator Brig Gen B Sarki and principal Staff Officers of Headquarters Theatre Command OPHK amongst others.
