NAOWA President Commends Chairperson NAOWA 6 Division Chapter For Exceptional Achievements

The President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja has commended the Chairperson, NAOWA 6 Division Chapter, Mrs Maryam Abdussalam for her exceptional achievements within a short period on assumption of office.

Mrs Lagbaja gave this commendation recently at the NAOWA National secretariat, Abuja when she received Mrs Abdussalam and members of her entourage on a courtesy visit.

The NAOWA President applauded the Chairperson for her concerted efforts in projecting the activities of NAOWA within her Area of Responsibility, urging other NAOWA members to toe a similar path in order to lift the Association on to greater heights.

In her remarks,the Chairperson NAOWA 6 Division Chapter, Mrs Abdussalam, congratulated the NAOWA president on her assumption of office as the 23rd President and assured of her loyalty and support. She thereafter expressed her immense gratitude for the warm reception accorded her and her entourage at the NAOWA National secretariat.

Mrs Abdussalam further stated that in other to key into the vision of the NAOWA President, which is “Sustaining Legacies through Unwavering Commitment to Unity and Service for the Betterment of Humanity”, she had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division where she briefed the GOC on the activities and projections of the Chapter in line the vision of the President NAOWA, which the GOC approved, assuring of his steadfast commitment and support for NAOWA activities within his AOR.

Highlights of the visit were the interactive session, signing of visitors book, presentation of souvenirs, and group photographs.
