NAOWA President Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja Commissions Multiple Projects In Oyo State

The President Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, commissioned a newly established Postnatal Ward and a Solar Power Installations at the Letmuck Cantonment Medical Reception Station (MRS) Mokola, after which she commissioned a Renovated Block of Classrooms at the NAOWA Model Nursery and Primary School at Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment Odogbo on 5 July 2023.

The Projects were established by the Chairperson NAOWA 2 Division Chapter, Pharm (Mrs) Rekiya Usman in commemoration of the Nigerian Army Day Celebration 2023. In her remarks, the President NAOWA applauded the Chairperson NAOWA 2 Division Chapter for her initiative, she also stated that the commissioning ceremony is heartwarming being her first official assignment as the 23rd President of NAOWA.

In her remarks earlier, the Chairperson NAOWA 2 Division Chapter appreciated the President NAOWA for gracing the occasion. She also stated that the Postnatal Ward was established based on the report of a needs assessment carried out at the MRS, while the renovated block of classrooms is aimed at upgrading the school facility.

The President NAOWA also attended the Grand Finale and the Gala Night of the 2023 Nigerian Army Day Celebration at the Maj Gen JM Inienger Sport Complex at the Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment Odogbo, and the International Conference Centre University of Ibadan respectively on 6 July 2023.
