Navy Secretary and Commander Naval Drafting Hold Dialogue With Ratings In Eastern Naval Command
On Monday 5 May 2025, the Navy Secretary (NAVSEC), Rear Admiral PC Nwatu and Commander Command Naval Drafting (CND), Rear Admiral MY Dahiru engaged in a productive dialogue with Ratings in Eastern Naval Command, Calabar area.
In his address, the NAVSEC encouraged Ratings to share their concerns and suggestions, emphasizing that it would inform policy decisions benefiting the Nigerian Navy. Also, he highlighted upcoming innovations enhancing personnel capabilities and welfare, urging ratings to pursue higher education.
Lastly, the CND elaborated on the command‘s activities which included the mother base concept and the SO1 Drafting coordination.
