Nicki Minaj Brags Beating Aretha Franklin for Most Billboard Hot 100 Hits by a Female
Nicki Minaj has one more reason to stake her claim as the Queen of Rap.
Last night, Billboard released their weekly record and declared Nicki Minaj the female with the most appearances on the Hot 100 Hits, a feat that was previously held by the legendary singer, Aretha Franklin.
Nicki now holds 76 appearances on the chart, as against Aretha Franklin’s 73. Ms. Franklin held the record for almost 40 years.

The Queens rapper made this history with her Remy Ma diss song No Frauds, Changed It, and Regret in Your Tears, all released last week during the peak of her hip-hop feud with Remy Ma.
Recall that in her note to her rival, Nicki Minaj dared Remy to drop a hit song within 72 hours and get $500k. She added that she would break the Billboard record, proving her earlier shot at Remy: that to be the Queen of Rap, you must sell records.
See her celebration last night:
It’s a sad day for Remy Ma fans and all the Nicki Minaj haters on the internet; they are all up on social media, dismissing Nicki’s record. However, the rapper is undaunted and has one more reason to claim she won the hip-hop beef.
