Nigeria Army Officers Wives Association Donates To Hospital and Autism Center

The Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association NAOWA in bid to commemorate the COAS Annual conference 2017 has donated charity items to patients and medical equipment at the University of Ibadan Medical College. The association also visited and donated items at Kids Autism Centre Ibadan.

Making the donation of the items, the National President NAOWA, Mrs Umma-Kalsum Tukur Buratai said the objectives of the association cannot be achieved without reaching out to the less privileged in society. She revealed that health is the most important need for human survival. She encouraged the medical personnel to continue the good works of service to humanity.

The Medical Director Prof Temitope O Alonge who was represented by Dr Clement Abu Okolo while receiving the items said the donation by NAOWA was timely as most of the medical equipment donated came at a time they were needed. He said the Nigerian Army has made the country proud by keeping the country safe and united. He encouraged NAOWA to continue to support Army officers in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Also visited was the Jesus Kids Autism Centre-, A home for the special people. In her remarks, the NAOWA President commended the Director and staff of the Centre for doing a wonderful job of catering for children with deformity.
