Nigerian Air Force Strengthens Joint Battlefield Coordination Through Air-To-Ground Integration and Civilian Harm Mitigation Training

The Nigerian Air Force, through the Air Warfare and Doctrine Centre, continues to enhance joint operational excellence by equipping personnel of Operation Savannah Shield with advanced Air-to-Ground Integration and Civilian Harm Mitigation skills. Bringing together personnel from the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Air Force, the specialised in-theatre training reinforced seamless air-ground coordination, responsible military operations and mission readiness through practical demonstrations and interactive learning.

The initiative reflects the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke’s commitment to building a highly motivated, professional and mission-ready force capable of delivering decisive air power effects in synergy with surface forces while upholding the highest standards of operational effectiveness and civilian protection.
