Nigerian Army Conducts Free Medical Outreach Program In Zamfara State
The Commander 1 Brigade Nigerian Army Gusau, Brigadier General S Ahmed distributed Medical Items and Cleaning materails to Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau and Yerima Bakura Specialist Hospital Gusau, include other Primary Health Centres across its areas of operational responsibilities in Zamfara state as part of the activities marking the Nigerian Army Day Celebration 2023.
Brig Gen Ahmed in his remarks says, the the free medical outreach program is part of the Nigerian Army efforts to impact positively to the communities and appreciate the good people of Zamfara State for their support towards the successes the troops have recorded so far in its operations.
General Ahmed commended the Medical Directors of the Hospitals for their immense cooperation and assistance rendered to troops of Operation Hadarin Daji referred to them and in time of medical emergencies.
The Commander urged the management of the Hospitals to continue to assist the troops referred to them and urged the commanders in the field to enhance the cordial relationship with the Hospitals. He further assured the Medical Directors of his willingness to assist the hospitals in his capacity.
The Commander 1 Brigade who was represented by the Commander 1 Brigade Medical Center in Gusau and other Team Commanders across the State distributed medical and cleaning.
