In a bid to enhance professionalism and responsiveness in the Nigerian Army, no fewer than twenty nine recently promoted Nigerian Army Warrant Officers AWO will be given cars by the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai.
This was disclosed on Friday by the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Emmanuel  Kabuk after a courtesy visit to Innoson Motors/Vehicles Manufacturing Plant at Nnewi, Anambra State.
Kabuk was taken on a tour round the Plant by the Founder and Chairman of the company, Innoson Chukwuma and some of the top management staff.
Present with the General at the visit include the Commander 302 Artillery Regiment Onitsha, Commanders of 82 Military Intelligence Brigade and 82 Division Provost Group as well as the Deputy Director Public Relations 82 Division.
During the tour, Kabuk enquired about the state of the vehicles ordered by the Nigerian Army for the promoted warrant officers. He equally asked when the vehicles would be ready for use and what the maintenance plan would entail when they are finally delivered to the Nigerian Army.
While responding Innoson expressed his readiness to ensure the cars are delivered in two weeks.
He also added that his company is ready to accommodate and train Nigerian Army technicians in the factory so as to prepare them to handle the vehicles effectively.
He further appreciated the Chief of Army staff for the patronage while hoping that this would build an effective collaboration between the company and the Nigerian Army.
