Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Nationwide Road Walk Heralds World Public Relations Forum Abuja 2026
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has held a nationwide road walk as part of activities heralding the forthcoming World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), tagged “Abuja 2026”, which Nigeria is hosting and is expected to attract participants from more than 126 countries across the globe.
The WPRF Abuja 2026 is scheduled to take place from 15 to 21 November 2026 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, and the brand-new, NIPR-owned first World Public Relations and Leadership University in Gudi, Nasarawa State.
The nationwide road walk, which took place across major cities in the country, was organised to build awareness, generate excitement and sustain public engagement ahead of the global gathering of public relations practitioners and stakeholders.
The forum, being hosted by the NIPR, is expected to bring together practitioners, communication experts, academics, policymakers and other stakeholders from across the world to exchange ideas, share professional experiences and deliberate on issues shaping the future of public relations and leadership.
The road walk also provided an opportunity for NIPR members and other participants to take the WPRF Abuja 2026 message to the streets and connect directly with members of the public as part of efforts to build momentum towards the international forum.
Participants were encouraged to amplify the roadshow and the WPRF Abuja 2026 message across the digital space by going live on their personal social media handles, recording videos and capturing memorable moments in photographs for wider online engagement.
The Institute urged participants and members of the public to use #WPRFAbuja2026 and, for user-generated content, #ILoveWPRF, while tagging @wprfabuja2026 and @niprofficial across social media platforms.
The nationwide road walk was therefore part of the NIPR’s broader efforts to take the WPRF Abuja 2026 conversation into the digital space, deepen public awareness and build sustained momentum ahead of the global forum.
