
Nigerian Navy, NDLEA Joint Operation Arrests Suspected Drug Trafficker, Disrupts Drug Network In Warri
The Nigerian Navy has reinforced its commitment to combating illicit drug trafficking through a successful joint operation with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), leading to the arrest of a suspected drug trafficker and the disruption of a drug distribution network in Warri, Delta State.
Personnel of Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) DELTA and NDLEA operatives conducted coordinated raids across the Urchie, Uvwiamuge, Orthokpor, and Usiefrun axes, recovering illicit substances including Molly, Cannabis, and Skuruchi.
The intelligence-driven operation underscores the Nigerian Navy’s commitment, under the leadership of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, to strengthening inter-agency collaboration in combating drug-related crimes and other threats to public safety, national security, and lawful economic activities.
