Nigerian Navy Ship WEY Holds Maiden Edition Of 5 Kilometre Wellness Walk

On Saturday 24 August 2024, Nigerian Navy Ship WEY held its first edition of the Commander NNS WEY 5 Kilometre Wellness Walk and Aerobics at the Nigerian Navy Sports Complex, Navy Town, Ojo, Lagos.

The participants were Nigerian Navy Personnel and their families, residents of Navy Town barracks and gym members of the Nigerian Navy sports complex. Also in attendance were members of the Naval Officers’ Wives Association (NOWA) and the Naval Ratings’ Wives Association (NARAWA).

The Commander NNS WEY, Commodore MM Braimah stated that the initiative was to promote fitness levels of personnel and their families. It would also create communal bonds within the Navy town community.
