Nigerian President visits Synagogue church collapsed building

Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan has visited the site of the collapsed building owned by the Synagogue Church of all Nations in Lagos where 86 persons, most of them South Africans, died.

Jonathan condoled those who lost loved ones in the incident saying he is confident ongoing investigations will reveal the cause of the building collapse. Meanwhile, the South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, who was also around during the President’s visit later had a session with journalists where he gave a new figure of the number of South Africans who died in the incident.
