Nigerian Youth Champion the Push for Made-in-Nigeria Products with Policy Backing and Financing

The NASENI Made-in-Nigeria Products Focus Group Meeting held in Delta and Plateau States saw active participation from various stakeholders, including senior state government officials, young entrepreneurs, industry leaders, manufacturers, and trade associations.

During the meetings, participants discussed the reasons behind Nigerians’ preference for foreign products over locally made ones, as well as the challenges and opportunities within Nigeria’s industrial sector. Strategies were also explored to increase local patronage and adoption of homegrown products.

Showcasing the potential of Nigeria’s manufacturing sector, a locally assembled electric vehicle was on display in Plateau state.

NASENI reiterated its commitment and collaboration with innovative young entrepreneurs to advance the production and widespread acceptance of Made-in-Nigeria goods.
